RETROBIKE FURY is a Virtual-Reality game (still playable without, but not gonna lie, it's way less fun) set in a futuristic world. You will drive an incredibly fast motorbike equipped with various weapons. Use your arsenal wisely to ensure you survive throughout the various levels. Destroy as much ennemies as possible and do combos to score high !
HOW TO PLAY
This game uses the Virzoom Bike as the main game controller. So if you have one, plug it in, get your VR headset, and play !
However, if you do not have this bike, don't worry, we got you covered.
If you have a VR headset (this should work with any headset, but we only tried with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive), unplug your VR controllers, and use your keyboard as the input source. But keep in mind that you could get serious motion sickness without the Virzoom Bike.
If you do not have a VR headset, use your keyboard and mouse to play. (Or a generic game controller)
Upon startup, the game will show you a white screen with the virzoom bike setup information. It should tell you how to bypass it if you do not have one. You can always bypass it by pressing Left Click and Right Click on your mouse, or both triggers if you use a generic game controller.

Very nice graphics. Tron bike
The graphics look great, the sound is also ok.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the Oculus Rift controllers.
The keyboard does not work either: press X
but nothing happens when you press X.
You should also insert a dongle.
Which dongle? Where to plug in? Where do you get this from?
What does the dongle cost? You don't find out. :(
The "ReleaseNotes" are unfortunately only in French.
What a shame, the game looks very promising.
Looks like a waste of developer time to me.
They spent a lot of time developing the game,
but cannot make it accessible to others.

Sorry for the various problems you encountered.
We forgot to explain that the game works with VR only using keyboard as an input source.
This is our final student project, and we needed to center the game on the use of the Virzoom Bike. The VR-only mode was just added for the sake of accessibility. However, in order to be able to properly control the bike, we needed to use a specific SDK given by Virzoom. And this SDK doesn't support VR Controllers : it only supports VR Headsets.
So plug your VR headset, get your keyboard, and play the game ! You can press Mouse Left + Mouse Right to bypass the Virzoom Bike setup as written on screen. It might have shown "PRESS X" or anything like that because it has mistaken your oculus controllers as a generic game controller.
The dongle thingy is a troubleshooting message to ensure a player using the virzoom bike has correctly plugged in the bluetooth dongle to link the bike to the computer.
Anyway, we're updating right now the game description to ensure it states the correct controls.
